ARGOSY UNIVERSITY/TAMPA CAMPUS invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Counselor Education. Responsibilities include teaching graduate-level courses in the mental health counseling (CACREP accredited), marriage and family therapy, counselor education and supervision (CACREP accredited), and counseling psychology programs; advising students; serving on doctoral dissertation committees; and serving on department and college- wide committees.

Faculty Position – The ideal candidate will have teaching experience as a counselor educator at the graduate level with a professional specialty in mental health counseling. Candidates with experience teaching in non-traditional formats (blended and online courses) are preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collegially with members of the department and the campus community is essential.
Ongoing, demonstrated involvement in the profession as a counselor educator is expected (e.g., membership in ACA, AMHCA, ACES). National Counselor Certification by NBCC and Florida licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or license eligibility is preferred. A personal and professional commitment to diversity is essential. In addition to the above qualifications, a doctorate in counselor education and supervision, preferably from a CACREP-accredited institution, is required. A demonstration of teaching effectiveness will be required as part of the interview. Experience teaching assessment is preferred as well as experience conducting programmatic assessment.
