Roger Williams University School of Education seeks an outstanding individual for the position of Assistant Professor of Education Tenure Track.
Duties include teaching undergraduate courses primarily in the area of Special Education in our Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and/or Educational Studies undergraduate programs; facilitating Practicum and Student Teaching Seminars; observing Student Teachers in the field and providing instructional mentoring; and providing service to the University and Department.
Qualified candidates will have an advanced degree, Ph.D or Ed.D.. in the area of Special Education preferred, teaching experience in K-12 schools, a commitment to working with diverse K-12 populations including English Language Learners, evidence of scholarship, and a teaching record of excellence.
