Lindsey Wilson College is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Professor for the School of Professional Counseling.

Lindsey Wilson College is a mission-centered college located in south-central Kentucky, with a history of serving the needs of underserved populations. Lindsey Wilson College’s School of Professional Counseling offers its undergraduate program in Human Services and Counseling, and its CACREP-accredited master’s program in Counseling and Human Development with a specialization in mental health counseling in various delivery formats that target students with historically limited access to higher education opportunities. Programs are currently offered traditionally, online and at 26 community campus sites in five states. Openings include E.P.White and community campus sites.

Candidates must have an interest in serving Appalachian and other diverse populations, a passion for teaching traditional and non-traditional students in creative formats, and an earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision or eligibility as Core faculty per CACREP (strong ABD candidates considered).

Responsibilities include teaching nine courses per year (graduate and undergraduate); supervision of clinical experiences and development of clinical training sites; student mentoring and advising; scholarship; and service.
