The College of Education at Grand Valley State University invites applications for a full-time, assistant professor faculty position in reading/language arts beginning Fall 2018. Required qualifications include a Doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction, Literacy, English Education, Language, Literacy & Culture, or a closely related field, as well as scholarly contributions in these areas. ABD candidates will be considered if completed by August 31, 2018. Qualifications also include K-12 classroom experience, reading specialist certification, and experience teaching in online and hybrid environments. Primary responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in reading and literacy in hybrid and online settings, contributing to the ongoing development of a master’s program in Reading/Language Arts; providing service to the unit and university.
