Full or Part Time: Full Time
Salary Basis: 9 month
Teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes, particularly in the area of literacy; advising students; serving on various university, college, and division committees, and willing to assume other related assignments. The successful candidate will also be expected to serve on doctoral committees, grade comprehensive examinations, and perform other duties as assigned by the division chair and college dean.
An earned doctorate in Reading, or a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or Elementary Education with a strong emphasis in Reading. Additionally the candidate must have a minimum of three years teaching experience in Elementary Education. Of particular importance is a thorough working knowledge of current research and practices in literacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

Earned doctorate in Elementary Education and/or Reading. Also required are three years teaching experience with elementary school aged children and a thorough working knowledge of current research and practices in literacy. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively are also essential.
Earned doctorate in Elementary Education or Reading, thorough knowledge of current research and practices in literacy, and three years experience in teaching elementary school age children. A record of publications and presentations is also preferred.
