Job Description Summary / TWC SummaryThe department offers Masters and Doctoral degrees in Educational Administration with concentrations in Educational Administration, Higher Education and Community College Leadership as part of the degree programs. The faculty member is responsible for functions related to teaching courses at the graduate level; advising graduate students; supervising student interns; engaging in scholarly activities in areas relevant to the department and college; and assuming departmental and college committee responsibilities.

Essential Duties SummaryTeaching content courses in Educational Administration, Higher Education, Community College Leadership and/or foundations at the graduate level. Advising graduate students and supervising doctoral research. Collaboration with the local school district and supervising student Internship programs when nedded

Engaging in scholarly research. Serving on departmental and college committees. Participating in professional activities including internal and external conferences and seminars. Other duties within the range of skills normally associated with a position of this classification in an evolving teaching and learning environment.

EducationAn earned doctorate in educational administration, educational leadership, higher education or related doctorate in Education is required. The successful applicant should be eligible for a tenure track appointment in the department.

Required Licensing/CertificationPrincipal Certificate or teaching experience in Higher Education.

Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesApplicants should be dynamic individuals who can engage in continued curricular development, excellence in teaching, and scholarly activity, and growth in funded research.

Work ExperienceSuccessful candidates should have teaching and administrative experience in grades; K-16; OR university teaching experience with evidence of public service and scholarly activity; and, familiarity with diverse educational settings.
