Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a Chair of the newly formed Educational Leadership and Counselor Education Department. Salary will reflect experience, qualifications, and rank. Tenure is negotiable. The successful candidate will be a motivational leader who can facilitate accreditation processes including CACREP and CAEP as well as support faculty and the various programs housed within the department. Experience chairing a university academic department with a doctoral program is essential. The candidate should demonstrate a successful record of teaching and research at the doctoral level. Areas of teaching can be either in Education Leadership or Counselor Education.
Required qualifications include a terminal degree from a regionally accredited university, evidence of effective teaching, a strong research record, and experience chairing a medium to large academic department.
