Job Description or Duties: Educational Administration, Department Chair/Associate Professor or Professor, (Tenure-track, 9-month contract with Chair stipend), Department of Educational Administration in the College of Education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Candidates are expected to have a record of demonstrated ability in educational leadership and administration, distinguished teaching and research, and eligible for a faculty position at the associate professor or full professor level. The successful candidate will teach EDAD online graduate coursework, recruit and advise students, provide academic leadership for the department and CAEP accreditation and assessment efforts, serve as liaison between the Department and the University Administration and fulfill teaching, research and service responsibilities to the department, college, university and professional community.

Required Qualifications: A minimum of two years of successful PK-12 teaching, followed by a minimum three years of experience as a successful PK-12 educational administrator. A doctorate in Educational Administration or closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications: Five years or more years of successful experience as a PK-12 educational administrator. Current or Eligible for Administrative Standard Certificate or Administrative Professional Certificate. Relevant and successful graduate and on-line/blended course instructional delivery methods teaching experience. Nebraska Department of Education certification and/or CAEP accreditation experience. Active involvement or leadership educational administration professional organizations.
