The Department of Elementary Education at Kutztown University invites applications for a full-time temporary position at the instructor level for the 2017-2018 Academic Year. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: Masters degree, reading specialist certification, and classroom teaching experience in elementary and middle level literacy courses. Preferred: Doctoral degree, reading specialist experience, work with diverse populations, experience working with undergraduates, and scholarly activities. Responsibilities include supervising field experiences and teaching various literacy courses. Successful interview required.
