Description of Job Duties:
Responsibilities include teaching day and evening classes at the 1604 and UTSA Downtown Campuses in academic programs leading to bachelor’s degrees in interdisciplinary studies, master’s degrees in education, doctoral degrees in Interdisciplinary Learning and teaching, and in professional licensure programs for teachers; primary responsibility for the supervision of students and supervising master’s thesis; advising doctoral students and supervising dissertations, developing grant applications and proposals for the external support of research and teacher preparation in special education; and providing service to the department, college, university, community, and profession.

Note 1: At the discretion of the hiring manager as , the position will be classified as a Visiting Associate or Visiting Assistant Professor depending on the experience of the finalist candidate.
