Visiting Assistant Professor position requires at least three years of teaching experience (EC-grades 12) and a Ph.D. in literacy or related field.Visiting Associate Professor position requires at least three years of teaching experience (EC-grades 12), a Ph.D. in literacy or related field, and at least six years teaching experience in a university.
Successful candidates will complement the strengths of the current faculty with teaching excellence in early childhood elementary, elementary, and/or secondary literacy education.
Have strong teaching experience at the college level.
Have strong potential for scholarly activities.
Demonstrate a commitment to K-12 partnerships in multicultural settings.

Description of Job Duties:
Successful applicants will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in literacy education.
Other responsibilities may include supervision of preservice teachers in field practicum placements in a variety of clinical settings and participation in scholarly activities.
