THE DEPARTMENT OF LEADERSHIP & TEACHER EDUCATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH ALABAMA invites applicants for a tenure track full-time (9 month) Assistant, Associate or Professor of Educational Leadership starting no later than August 15, 2019. Applicants must have completed doctoral coursework or have an earned doctorate in Educational Leadership/Administration or a related field. If the doctorate is in a related field, there must be 18 graduate hours in educational leadership. Candidate must be eligible for a tenure track appointment at the level of Assistant, Associate or Professor; have a strong record of scholarly activity, including refereed publications and external funding or potential for same; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educational partners on and/or off-campus; and excellent administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Successful experience in teaching graduate courses in educational leadership; utilization of technology to communicate and facilitate instruction; and the ability to develop and administer grants and other sources of external funding. Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative research methods are highly desired.
