The Department of Teacher Education at Elmira College, Elmira NY, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Inclusive Special Education.
Responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in inclusive special education; supervising student teachers and facilitating practicum experiences in K-12 school settings; advising students; and developing collaborative partnerships with local school districts. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service to Elmira College.

Salary to be determined based on experience.
- Doctorate in Special Education or Inclusive Education is required for rank of Assistant Professor. ABD in Special Education with expectation of completed within twelve months of appointment will be considered for the rank of Instructor.
- Candidates must have experience teaching special education in a Pre-K – 12 setting for a minimum of three years.
- Certification in teaching special education is required.
