As the Assistant Professor of Research, Assessment, and Measurement, Assistant Professor you will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, be involved in course and curriculum development, work effectively with diverse populations of students, colleagues, and members of the community at large, engage in productive research and grant seeking activities, and serve on dissertation committees.

Required Qualifications:

Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) from an accredited institution or equivalent accreditation in psychometrics, applied statistics, or closely related field.

A demonstrated record of teaching, as well as a demonstrated line of research inquiry, and a record of service.

ABD will be considered if degree is conferred by August 7, 2019. If successful candidate is ABD, appointment will be made at an Instructor level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced training in at least three of the following: psychometric research and statistics including item response theory, survey research, program evaluation, action research, scaling and equating, hierarchical linear modeling, measurement and assessment, sample design and methodology for scholarly settings.

Experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate education courses.

Proficiency in the use of technology for data collection and analysis, and instructional purposes.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience or commitment to the use of technology in distance learning & university teaching. Interest in collaborating both within and outside the University in the development and delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning. Must value continued scholarship and service to the school and university.
